Installing SolidWorks2CATIA
Saving As CATIA FileIn SolidWorks, go to file SaveAs menu and select the CATIA extension "*.model" then enter the name for your CATIA file. Options and SettingsSolidWorks2CATIA allows multiple setting configurations. You can save your own options and settings and define specific configurations for different projects or customers. Options are available in the folder SolidWorks2CATIA of the Tools/Options/third Party dialog in SolidWorks. CATIA Entities Currently ConvertedSolidWorks2CATIA is designed to translate all the type of 3D models from SolidWorks: assemblies, parts and surfaces. Other entities like sketches or drawing are ignored.

SystemSolidWorks2CATIA works with SolidWorks2005 and SolidWorks 2006. SolidWorks2CATIA is fully functional on Windows 2000 and Windows XP. Evaluation VersionThe evaluation version lets you test SolidWorks2CATIA on up to three CATIA files. When loading the CATIA file, a Dialog box will appear asking for an unlock code. If you are online click the Internet button and a code will be automatically returned to you. Otherwise you can obtain an evaluation code at: http://www.radialsoft.com/products/sld2catiaunlock.htm. Caution: You need one different code per file. If you have several files to test, please request several codes.
