I have just talked with one of our customers which are on Catia renewal. He asked me about when they can expect an update of Catia and when the new version is released?

A:The Software is updated every two month or so.

We don't sent it to customers. They should download it from the web site on need.

What I mean by on need is if they have files they cannot read, if they upgrade SolidWorks (2003 to 2004).

CATIA2SolidWorks 4.2.19 October 23rd Quarter Code 16

A customer under maintenance receive a code valid until the end of the last

quarter of their maintenance period. They can download all release during this time and enjoy them.

A customer who is not under maintenance can also download them but they will not be able to use it. They will return to demo mode limited to 3 trials. If they roll back to a version corresponding to their maintenance period normal operation is restored. This is why some older versions are still available on the web site.
